Sfolds look great sitting above your architraves. For a real Luxe feel they look fantastic either from the ceiling to floor (suitable for square cut with no cornice)  or from under your cornice to the floor. You can also create a luxurious wall of fabric by going wall to wall and ceiling to floor.

A lot of my clients will opt for a pencil pleated style which looks great as a sheer curtain and has a more gathered rustic look. For a very classy and traditional look, a triple pinch pleated curtain can look very stylish and elegant.

The best insulators are cellular blinds. They create a double glazed affect and are very minimalist in look and simple in style.

A block out curtain or a separately lined curtain are great insulators and noise reducers also. Because they are gathered they create a thick layer across your window and you will save on energy bills and leave a lighter footprint on the environment.

For a very dark room a full block out curtain with a pelmet will do the job. If that’s not to your taste you can choose a full cassetted roller blind in a block out fabric. The side channels and cassette pelmet create a room darkening affect

Depending on the style of your window, plantation shutters can be fitted inside the recess or fitted within a frame to the face of your windows Its best to use a small Lframe for a recess fit as this will help with out of square windows and light control.
